What are the ingredients in each tea blend?

Our Health Tea Box wellness teas incorporate over 30 different teas, spices and herbs. Below is the full list of ingredients.

Morning Tea – Energy Boost 

White Tea, Green Tea, Matcha, Blueberries, Strawberries, Apples, Hibiscus, Rose Petals.

Day Blend – Cognitive Memory Assist 

Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, Huperzia Serrata, Angelica Sinenssis, Rhodiola Saccharinensis, Salvia Miltiorrhiza, Radix Puerarriae, Plygala, Mango, Kiwi, Apples, Blueberries.

All Day Blend – Immunity Boost

Licorice, Fennel, Peppermint, Hibiscus, Pomegranate, Orange Zest.

Afternoon Blend – Gut Health 

Turmeric Root, Ginger, Cinnamon, Coconut, Lime Pieces, Black Pepper.

Evening Blend – Relax and De-Stress

Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Passion Fruit, Goji Berry, Valerian, Cinnamon, Vanilla.

Morning Tea – Energy Boost Tasting Notes:

The apple and berries balance out the sometimes-potent flavour of matcha and green tea and the slight fragrant taste of rose and hibiscus gives the tea a nice finish.

Day Blend – Cognitive Memory Assist Tasting Notes:

Natural sweetness thanks to the mango, balanced out by the tartness of kiwi and apple; slight, but pleasant medicinal undertone from the memory enhancing ingredients.

All Day Blend – Immunity Boost Tasting Notes:

Naturally sweet thanks to the liquorice and fennel this tea has a hint of peppermint from the fresh peppermint leaf that is included in the blend. The orange and pomegranate give fruity finishing notes.

Afternoon Blend – Gut Health Tasting Notes:

With the combination of ginger, coconut and lime, this tea tastes like a tropical paradise! It is pleasantly sweet, with a fiery, but balanced, ginger kick.

Evening Blend – Relax and De-Stress Tasting Notes:

Hints of cinnamon and vanilla, as well as a slight hit of lemon thanks to the Lemon Balm. The blend of ingredients allow this tea to be simultaneously soothing and satisfying.

I have purchased your teas and just wondering are they ok for breastfeeding mums?

There are no known Contra-indications of the herbs used.

There is a Caution during Lactation  with regard to caffeine consumption with the recommendation of no more than 2-3 caffeinated  beverages to be consumed during the day.

As the Morning Blend contains caffeine I would suggest that it be consumed AFTER the morning feed, so as not to directly transfer the caffeine  through the milk  to the baby and to adher to the limitations recommended.

Consuming the teas as a system  (one of each bag /day)  provides the greatest safety impact.
Some individuals have known  family allergies to chamomile  or fennel (carrot & celery fall into this family) and if so these  herbs should be avoided so as not to trigger anything in mum or  the baby.

If not, Chamomile and Fennel can assist with  issues like colic or upset stomach- as well as some other of the ingredients in the teas.

Additionally Fennel and Hibiscus have galactagogue properties; which support & increase breast milk production.
